Bridget Dooling, JD


Bridget C.E. Dooling is a Research Professor with the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center and a Professor of Law (by courtesy) at GW Law.

Previously, she was a deputy branch chief, senior policy analyst, and attorney for the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB), where she reviewed draft regulations from FDA, SAMHSA, and other agencies. She also served on the Biden-Harris Transition Team. She is on the editorial board for the Food & Drug Law Journal for FDLI and the Council of the ABA's Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Section. She is the principal investigator for grants from the Pew Charitable Trusts to study regulatory issues associated with substance use disorder. She was also part of the planning committee for a recent National Academies workshop on the regulation of methadone.
