Anna Fagbemi, BS
Anna Fagbemi is a native New Yorker from Long Island and a 3rd-year medical student at the City University of New York (CUNY) school of medicine. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in biomedical sciences from the Sophie-Davis program at the City College of New York. This competition has sparked her further study and research into the complication of Alcohol Use disorder associated with gastric weight loss surgeries. Apart from patient advocacy, she is involved in a mentorship program for high school and pre-med students. Outside of scholarly pursuits, she enjoys playing multiple musical instruments, sports and singing.
